Genk draw away at Lierse

Belgian Jupiler side KRC Genk scored a late goal and failed to defend it to end up with share spoils with Lierse as the two tied 1-1 in a match day four tie in the Belgian Jupiler League played on Saturday 18 august 2012.

Joseph-Monrose scored for Genk on 79 minutes but after just seven minutes of defending the goal, host Lierse pleased the near 7,000 fans at the Herman Vanderpoorten Stadium with an equalizer through Jason Adesanya on 86 minutes.

Kenyan striker Ayub Timbe Masika who was named to the bench in the season opener on 5 August 2012 against OH Leuven missed on the Genk lineup for the third straight game.

The draw keeps Genk sixth in the 16-team league with six points from four points as Lierse drops to 13^th with three points.
