FUFA: Leave 'Migingo' politics outside the stadium

Namboole

The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has declared tomorrow’s Africa Cup of Nations qualification match pitting the Uganda Cranes and Kenya’s Harambee Stars, a politics-free event.

Consequently, fans have been requested not to wear attire [T-shirts] or carry placards that have any political connotation, particularly in relation to the two countries’ handling of the controversial Migingo island issue.

Culprits will be thrown out

According to FUFA fans will be expected to conduct themselves in an orderly and respectful manner before, during and after the match.

Individuals that will contravene the order will either be denied entrance to the Stadium or thrown out of the stadium should they manage to sneak in illegal material.
