With the FK Cup taking centre stage over the weekend, some Tusker Premier League clubs will take time of duty to focus on things other than football.

That will be the case for SoNy Sugar, as they will stay away from football over the weekend.

Head coach Zedekiah Zico Otieno says that the players deserve some rest for the the good things they have done in recent weeks.

Rest

- We have given the players a free weekend off duty. No football activity for us.

- They (players) have done well in recent weeks to win some tough games, so I think that they deserve a brief rest, he told Futaa.com.

SoNy are placed eighth in the Premier League standings.
