Former U20 coach gets new National role

Former Kenya U20 Coach Vince Ombiji has been appointed to coach South Africa bound Special Olympics Kenya Team.

According to a communiqué from the Special Olympics Kenya signed by the National Director John Makathimo, the coach will take charge of the team to the Unity Cup set to take place between 3 October and 6 October 2012.

- I write to formally inform you that you have been appointed to be a Special Olympics Kenya Team Coach to the Africa Unity Cup in Johannesburg, South Africa, read the statement in part.

The appointment is however subject to Ombiji’s acceptance.
