Former Stars skipper backs Dockers for glory

Robert Mambo

Former Harambee Stars skipper Robert Mambo has thrown his weight behind Division One side Bandari FC as deserving candidates for promotion.

According to the Dulkard midfielder, the team should work towards a return to the league so that the coast fans base may not feel locked out of action any more.

Determined

-I am happy for my downtown boys since they are really showing determination to jet back to the big league and I think it is about time they have a good team which can compete in the Tusker Premier League.

-They [Bandari] should just carry on their good form and bounce back since everybody from coast is proud of them. Fans want to catch Tusker Premier League action from the coast region next season.

The Dockers were relegated at the end of last season after finishing second last above bottom placed and coast counterparts Congo United.

Bandari are currently placed top in Zone A of Division One league with a massive 13 point gap over second placed Bidco United.
