Former Stars coach snubs TZ return

Tanzania Vodacom League side Mtibwa Sugar is attempting to take back their former coach and Kenyan Tom Olaba as the season rolls on.

The coach has confirmed to futaa.com that indeed the club has been making attempts to convince him to return but he has continually declined.

-Several stakeholders at my former club have been trying to get me back at the club but I have declined since I want to serve my country.

-I am not willing to go back there now since the Kenyan season is almost over and I want a chance to coach one of the local teams.

Olaba has been in the country since August this year after failing to renew his contract with the Tanzanian side into the new season and is targeting to coach in the Tusker Premier League next season.

Mtibwa Sugar is placed 11^th on the standings.
