Former Rangers FC player-coach Jafar Gichuki has taken a break from football and will not be involved in any club activity till the end of the season.
The player moved to coastal side Bandari FC after leaving troubled Rangers FC during the mid-season transfer window but his stay did not last.
Back to work
He was recalled by his former employers Postal Corporation and decided to take up the offers and return to Nairobi.
-I have decided to take a break till next year and concentrate on my job and Posta but I will decide on further action come that time, Gichuki told futaa.com.
Postal Corporation terminated its sponsorship of Tusker Premier League side Rangers FC, then referred to as Posta Rangers, at the beginning of the 2011 season.
The club has since never recovered from the financial slum
and is currently fighting relegation. Rangers is placed bottom of the TPL standings while Bandari is top of Division One [Zone A] standings.
