Once a Mathare United, Tusker and Harambee Star left back, Adam Shaban is set to return to Scandinavia in the coming month.
I am not signing up with any local side
In the country since December 2011, Shaban, who at some point trained with 2009 Kenyan Premier League Champion Sofapaka and lately with Division One side Kariobangi Sharks, is now setting the record straight to avoid any misconceptions
-I am now fully healed and back in training, he said to futaa.com on his long term injury
-I am not signing up with any local side – I have only just been training with them to keep fit, he clarified when futaa posed the query of him signing up with a local side
Best remembered
Shaban has been based in Norway since 2007 where he had signed up with second tier side Lov Ham. After two seasons, he dropped a level down to join Brumunddal in the third tier, the club he is expected to go back to in June 2012.
Shaban is best remembered for being part of Harambee Stars that made it to the 2004 Africa Cup of Nations held in Tunisia.
