Former Denmark based international set for Division one club

Emmanuel Ake
Former Harambee Stars forward Emmanuel Ake is in line for a shock move to the Kenyan Second tier.

Ake, who is currently unattached could move to Division one club Bandari in the mid-season transfer window.

The forward is currently in the country having had his stint in Denmark cut short; the 32 year old having been served with an eviction notice at Second division club Svebølle B & I.

Ake has thus been in the country and is looking for a club as he aims to further his playing career.

It now seems he could end up at Bandari, whose coach Rishadi Shedu admits to having held talks with the player.

-We are in touch with Ake. He has been coming to watch our matches at Mbaraki but has not yet trained with us. He is doing that on his own at the moment.

-There is no chance of getting him to play for us at the moment, but if all is well in mid-season, I am sure he can be a part of our squad, Shedu told Futaa.com.

Ake has played for the national team Harambee Stars before, and was part of the Stars squad that played in the 2004 Africa Cup of Nations in Tunisia.
