Former champs vow not to wither

Tusker Premier League former champions and military side Ulinzi Stars has promised to give a brave fight in their weekend duel against Karuturi Sport away in Naivasha.

Speaking to the club’s official site ulinzistarsfc.com, the coach Sammy Simiyu promised to ensure that the side ends the season on a high.

Sprint finish

-We want to finish the league strongly and that is why we are taking all matches seriously till the end of the season. We are currently focused on the match against Karuturi which we want to attain maximum points, he insisted.

Ulinzi Star are placed fifth on the standings and a weekend win could leave them fourth deoending on how Sofapaka performs in their match.

The soldiers are fighting it out for the fourth place with Batoto Ba Mungu with the top three slots untenable for this season.
