Foreign coach takes over at City Stars

Following the departure of Mr. Gideon Ochieng, who has been with Nairobi City Stars since last season, it has been confirmed that Gambian Bye Wadda will be taking over as the stand in tactician.

Bye taking over

Ochieng left for the US where he is expected to be for three weeks and the chairman Peter Jabuya immediately confirmed the UK trained Coach who has been in close contact with City Stars will be taking over.

-Wadda will be our stand in coach in Gideon’s absence. He is not new to the team, he has been assisting in various capacities tactically because he is well gifted and vastly experienced in the area, he told futaa.com.

English trained

Wadda holds a Level 2 coaching certificate from the English Football Association and coached former Gambian Champions Real de Banjul, his immediate role will be to try and steer the team higher on the Tusker Premier League (TPL) table.
