FKF to host Isiolo peace tournament

The Football Kenya Federation Isiolo Sub Branch is set to host a peace tournament starting this weekend [8th September 2012] at the Isiolo Stadium,Wabera Primary School grounds and Mbula Mpya Primary School grounds.

The individual sponsored tournament set to run up to November this year [2012] will see the federation take cater for the referees’ fees to the finals.

Two groups

14 teams are set to take part in the tournament and have been divided into two groups of seven with each group winners qualifying for the semis. The federation has also called for more support to go into the awards' kitty.

Players currently taking part in the Upper Eastern league remain ineligible to play in this tournamnet so as to give an opportunity to other players yet to break into this league. 

The tournament champions is also set to be promoted into the Upper Eastern league come next season.
