FKF Sub branch at pains over missing player

Copa Coca Cola

Busia Sub Branch is at pains to explain the whereabouts of an U17 player who was part of Western Boys team that recently featured in the Copa Coca Cola Nationals held in Mombasa.

Frederick Otieno

According to the Chair of the Sub Branch, the player failed to return to his school Mundika Secondary School upon arrival from Mombasa.

- Mundika High have put us to task to explain the whereabouts of midfielder Frederick Otieno who was part of the Western Copa Coca Cola boys team, said Busia Sub branch Chair William Musumba to futaa.com.

Eventual winners

-As a sub branch, we went to the school to pick him up for the Mombasa trip. But after we returned, the player ‘disappeared’ in Kakamega and has not reported to his school (Mundika) since. The school now needs us to explain why we picked him and never brought him back

-There is rumor that he has gone to Kakamega High School but we do not know for sure. If it is true that school needs to come out clean and say so to ease the worries of Otieno’s whereabouts, he concluded

Otieno scored a brace for Western to lead the side to a 3-1 over Nyanza and a ticket to the semis from where the team was stopped by eventual winners Coast Boys
