FKF still undecided on US Tourney

Kenya is yet to confirm participation in the LA Vikings Tournament set for the United States starting next month.

The Kenya Women’s team had been invited for the two weeks tournament, with the federation confirming receipt, but the local governing body is yet to decide on their participation.

-We have not confirmed the trip. As you are aware there will be costs involved and we are also required to purchase air tickets as well as pay four our own accommodation.

-When NEC meets, it will deliberate on it then confirm our participation - or not. 

-As for now all the focus in on the upcoming friendly against Bafana Bafana, revealed FKF’s CEO Lodvick Aduda.

The LA Viking Cup 2012 is an invitational tournament open to all Women National Teams around the globe.

The 2012 tourney is set to be played from 21 November – 2 December 2012.

The Men’s Team is set to face their South African counterparts at the Moi International Sports Center Kasarani on Saturday 13^th October 2012.
