FKF elated by PUMA deal

National Football governing body Football Kenya Federation [FKF] has lauded Sports Merchandise Company PUMA and Kenyan Premier League after the two signed deal earlier Wednesday morning.

Speaking after the unveiling ceremony at Hilton Hotel, FKF chairman Sam Nyamweya assured the federation’s full support in efforts to support football in the country.

- I would like to thank both KPL and Puma for the support and note that we have to work together.

The chair emphasized that the federation enjoys cordial relationship with KPL despite negative speculations from different quarters.

- People thought that we will fight with KPL but we have a very good working relationship, he insisted.

The function held at the Hilton Hotel Nairobi will see PUMA take over as sole suppliers of training and match balls for all KPL clubs.

The KShs 10 Million worth deal will also see the League managers and club benefit financially from purchases made.
