Football Kenya Federation (FKF) has confirmed the dates for the much anticipated 2012 President’s Cup semi-finals.
The matches to be played this coming weekend (Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th October) in Nairobi, will see defending champions Gor Mahia lock-horns with bitter-rivals AFC Leopards as Sofapaka face off with Tusker in the other semis.
Derby reloaded
According to FKF’s CEO Lodvick Aduda, further announcements regarding the fixtures will be made after a stakeholders’ meeting scheduled, on Tuesday 9 October.
-The two semi-final matches will be played this coming weekend. Although we haven’t yet decided on the derby day, all matches will be staged in Nairobi.
-These are high profile matches and we are doing everything possible to ensure that we acquire convenient venues to host them. Further information will be given after tomorrows’ meeting, said Aduda to futaa.com.
