National Football Governing Body FKF has vehemently defended the newly appointed Harambee Stars Coach Henri Michel over what was termed as misinterpreted words during a recent press conference.
In a statement, the federation sort to explain what the Frenchman meant after he reportedly refereed to the CECAFA tournament as useless.
Miscommunication
-Being not fluent in English, he spoke in French and what came out was a misinterpretation of his statement.
-It is totally unacceptable for Musonye to direct personal attacks at the National Team Coach whom we have established did not utter the words attributed to him.
According to FKF, the Coach meant that the CHAN competition has a direct impact on the country’s FIFA rankings but not that the regional tourney was 'useless'.
