FKF asked to delay national camp

Moyas Ladies

Girls Premier League side Mathare United FC has called on the local football governing body Football Kenya Federation (FKF) to push backwards the dates set for the arrival of the National Team players into camp.

League yet to conclude

According to a communiqué from the club, this will ensure that the league concludes first before the players go for national duty and will assist the clubs in planning for weekend matches.

- We humbly request the federation to kindly allow the girls to join camp after this weekend since women premier league will be lowering its curtain then. This is in order to allow the provincial squad members to participate in their last league matches.

Mathare is represented in the provisional squad by goalkeeper Pauline Atieno. The players are set to report to camp on Tuesday 18 September 2012 for residential training as they prepare for a friendly against Ethiopia on a date yet to be confirmed.
