Finlays promotion hopes dimmed

Green Stadium Kericho
Finlays Horticulture's chances of getting promotion to the Tusker Premier League were dealt a huge blow after they drew 0-0 with Timsales.

The match, played in Naivasha on Sunday 21 October 2012 was a cracker as Finlays worked their socks off to get the win they needed to move closer to leaders Kakamega Homeboyz in the league standings.

Timsales though had other ideas, as they held their own and frustrated the home side to the end of the match.

Dissapointed

- It was a good game that we played but they worked hard and frustrated us to the end of the match. It was really dissapointing that we could not get the win as we dominated all the way.

- The match was well officiated and sadly, we could not get the result we craved. We are very dissapointed, Finlays Team Manager Ken Wafula told Futaa.com.

Finlays are five points behind the Kamamega Homeboyz in the FKF division one Zone B division with just four games left to play.
