Nyeri Stima has been the team to beat.

In the past weekend, with 54 points, Nyeri Stima carried a single point advantage over Muranga United after round 24 of games.
However, on Sunday 23 September 2012, Muranga United hit the 56 point mark to send Stima down to an unfamiliar second after seeing off Nanyuki United 3-1.
Stima, idle at the weekend, has a game in hand.
Consolidate
Gathanga United, who went into the weekend placed third and ten points back, moved to within seven points of giants Stima with a 2-0 Sunday win over Matenjagwo.
Fourth placed Tetu Stars consolidated their place in the 18-team log with a 2-0 win over Kamunyu. The team is now on 44 points after featuring in 24 games.
Mount Kenya University (MKU) Thika is fifth and breathing hard at Tetu. Following a 3-2 win over Commercial at the weekend, the scholars are now on 42 points.
Last two positions
Nanyuki Sportiff leapt off spot nine to land at seven after a 2-1 win over Kiambaa on Sunday. Kirinyaga United and Jumbo T remained tenth and 11th respectively after the two fourth out to a barren draw at the weekend.
Limuru Olympic and Kamunyu remain in the last two positions in the league; 17 and 18 with 17 and 14 points respectively.
