The 2014 World Cup opener will be played in Sao Paulo on June 12 starting 1700Hrs [2100Hrs] local time after the World Soccer Governing Body FIFA released the times for the global event.

The largest city in Brazil [Sao Paulo] is three hours behind Central European time with other cities including Belo Horizonte, Brasilia, Curitiba, Fortaleza, Natal, Porto Alegre, Recife, Rio de Janeiro and Salvador also hosting the event at the same time.
-Group-stage games will be played at 1300Hrs, 1400Hrs, 1700Hrs, 1600Hrs, 1900Hrs and 2100Hrs local time, knockout stage matches will take place at 1300Hrs and 1700Hrs, read a statement posted by soccernet.espn.go.com.
The semi-finals are set to take place on 13 July 2012 at the Maracana Stadium Rio de Janeiro starting 1700Hrs while the finals will be at 1600Hrs.
The final draw for the group stages will take place on 6 December, 2013 in Bahia.
