Gor Mahia’s Ugandan born striker Dan Sserunkuma recently stated it explicitly that he is considering switching nationalities to be a naturalised Kenyan, a factor that could make him available for selection to Harambee Stars.
Huge approval
In the wake of the Ugandan’s statement, futaa.com ran a poll for the Kenyan football fans to post their sentiments over the same and the diminutive forward’s ambition was given a huge approval.
A total of 1314 fans voted in the poll, 1084, translating to 82% voting in favour of the Gor striker’s wish while 230 (18%) felt otherwise.
Sserunkuma, signed by Gor Mahia from Nairobi City Stars during the midseason transfer window, has so far scored 13 goals in the season and is among the best forwards at the moment in the country’s top flight.
