Kinshasa born English soccer player Fabrice [Ndala] Muamba is no longer in critical condition, says a report from medics at the London Chest Hospital.
Muamba, 23, is now said to be breathing independently and responding to family members days after being rushed to the Hospital after collapsing at White Hart lane during a during an FA Cup tie for his club Bolton against Tottenham Hotspur.
Able to recognize family members
-He is continuing to show signs of improvement this evening, Bolton and the London Chest Hospital said in a joint statement as carried out on espn.go.com
-He is now able to breathe independently without the aid of a ventilator. He has also been able to recognize family members and respond to questions appropriately, added the statement.
By virtue of Muamba’s condition, Bolton’s Premier league tie against Aston Villa on Tuesday 20th and another tie against Blackburn at the weekend have had to be called off.
