Rwandan National team coach Sredejovic Micho Milutin has warned the immediate former Young Africans [Yanga] coach Tom Saintfiet against linking him to his recent sacking by the club.
Micho confirmed to Tanzanian site mwanaspoti.co.tz that he has sent a strong warning to the Belgian tactician asking him to keep off his affair and concentrate on his own career instead.
-I have made it clear to him that I have no connections with his firing from Yanga. It is also becoming evident that he is interested in my job as Rwanda’s head coach.
-He was fired due to poor results in the team and that is not my record so he should focus on where he went wrong and improve it rather than involving me in whatever way.
Tom Saintfiet has reportedly linked his sacking to the former Yanga and Al Hilal coach due to his close contact with the club’s management in the recent past.
Micho on the other hand has accused Tom of calling the Rwanda Football governing body [Ferwafa] asking to take over when Micho's current contract expires.
