At the start of August 2012 Naivasha based Kenyan Premier League (KPL) side Oserian FC dropped four of its players, the captain at the time, John Keo being one of those but it has since emerged that the former Tusker man could make a return to the relegation threatened side.
Performance related
The four were dropped in what was termed as performance related issues but the experienced midfielder, in an interview with futaa.com, refuted that and said he will travel to Naivasha to meet the club’s administrators to iron out issues.
-I don’t think I was performing below par but that is one thing I wouldn’t like to delve into right now; we all saw what happened, at the moment I am unattached but there is a possibility that I could return to Oserian soon.
Monday meeting
-I have a meeting with the management on Monday, where we will talk about all that and if all is clear I will be back in the team. I hope all goes well because I want to be of help to my team, he said.
Keo was at the City Stadium watching Oserian, who despite a spirited performance, fell to a 0 – 1 loss to Gor Mahia to remain bottom of the 16 team log.
