Former Kenyan International defender Haevener Maloba believes he achieved one of his big dreams when he started Agermanland FC in Mathare.
Potential
Maloba is a product of Mathare Youth Sports Association development programs and played for the senior team (Mathare United) in the beginning of the 2011 season before landing a deal with Swedish side Friska Viljor where he now plies his trade.
-There are a lot of talented kids in Mathare and it has always been my dream to give them an opportunity to play soccer and get a decent education, Maloba told futaa.com.
Appreciation
-The Mathare people made me whom I am today and I will never turn my back on them. I hope to initiate more development programs in the area, he added.
Agermanland FC features in the Nairobi County League and was started by Maloba with the help of Viljor C.E.O Lage Dahlquist and the Agermanland Football Association.
Agermanland Football Association is one of the 24 District organizations of the Swedish Football Associations and it administers lower tier football.
