Ex-Gor Mahia striker set for Tusker move

Former Gor Mahia striker Andrew Murunga is set to move to Tusker FC.

The striker, who played for relegated Bandari last season will move to the Kenyan Premier League champions on a free transfer, after receiving release forms from the Mombasa club.

His move has been rubber stamped by Bandari and Tusker are said to be close to completing the finer details of the former National Youth Talent Academy (NYTA) recruit.

Bandari head coach Rishadi Shedu confirmed that Murunga is on his way to Tusker.

-Murunga has asked for transfer forms to head to Tusker FC. We have given him our blessings and I hope that he does well when he moves there, Shedu told Futaa.com.

Asked for comment, Tusker team manager Neville Pudo confirmed that Murunga is indeed on his way to the club.

-We are looking to sign him. The details of his deal will be announced later, he confirmed.
