Former Gor Mahia striker Habil Otieno has heaped praise on the Kenyan Premier League saying it has grown to be one of the best leagues in Africa.
Progress
-I’ve been following the Kenyan Premier League keenly and I’m very happy with the progress it has made, Habil told futaa.com.
-The league is now tougher and more competitive. The players too have better salaries which is very encouraging. I urge the players to work harder now since all the structures seem to be okay unlike previously, he added.
Career
Habil left Gor Mahia for Canada in 2009 where he now plies his trade in the Vancouver Metro Soccer League for Estrella De Chille.
