Romanian side, Steaua Bucuresti were the much better side on Thursday in the Europa League Group E tie, when they crushed Molde 2-0, in Bucharest to go clear at the top of the group.

Only one point separated both sides at kick off, with Steaua on four points and Molde on three.

The two goal victory sent Steaua clear as stand-alone leaders with seven points.

Job done

The home side got the job done with two goals within two minutes as the first half wound down.

Vlad Chiriches scored the first goal after 30 minutes, and Raul Rusescu finished the job with a second two minutes later.

Nigerian midfielder, Emmanuel Ekpo played all 90 minutes for Molde.
