Ethiopia has sent early warning shots to Nigeria ahead of
their their 2014 World Cup qualifiers match in October.
Ethiopian Football Federation (EFF) Secretary-General Yigzaw Bezuaheyehu says The Walias do not fear Nigeria and are ready to beat them and advance to Brazil.
-We are confident that Ethiopia will challenge Nigeria and we hope to qualify for the world cup, Yigzaw told Brila FM, a Nigerian radio station,
-We have played many games to be here, we have a strong team to challenge Nigeria and anything can happen because this is football, we hope to qualify for the world cup, he emphasized.
The two were paired in a draw for the last round of qualifiers released on Monday after they both finished top of their respective pools.
