Espinoza

Sporting Kansas City midfielder Roger Espinoza will miss his national team, Honduras’ World Cup 2014 qualifying matches on Friday 12 October against Panama and Canada on Tuesday 16 October with a right ankle injury.

A month out

The player sprained his ankle in Sporting Kansas City's 1-1 Major League Soccer draw at Columbus and will be sidelined up to a month according to a statement from the team after conducting an MRI and X-rays on the player.

Espinoza is, however, expected to be back in time for the MLS playoffs for Sporting Kansas City, which leads the Eastern Conference.
