Sporting Kansas City midfielder Roger Espinoza will miss his national team, Honduras’ World Cup 2014 qualifying matches on Friday 12 October against Panama and Canada on Tuesday 16 October with a right ankle injury.
A month out
The player sprained his ankle in Sporting Kansas City's 1-1 Major League Soccer draw at Columbus and will be sidelined up to a month according to a statement from the team after conducting an MRI and X-rays on the player.
Espinoza is, however, expected to be back in time for the MLS playoffs for Sporting Kansas City, which leads the Eastern Conference.
