Egypt coach: The win was extra-ordinary

Under20 team

Egypt U20 head coach Rabbei Yassin expressed his delight following their 3-0 win over Kenya in the Africa Youth Championship (AYC) return leg match played on Saturday 11 August at the Nyayo National Stadium.

Extra-ordinary

Yassin termed termed the win as extra-ordinary considering the first leg match played a fortnight ago ended in a barren draw.

Key players

-We played the first leg at home without three key players, Ramy Hashim,Saleh Gomaa and Mahmoud Ahmad who had gone for the Olympics. They played a big role in today’s victory.

As they now set their focus on the AYC finals which are scheduled for September-October in Algeria, Yassin has said they dedicate the win to their Egyptian supporters who have been going through hard time lately.
