Echesa: focus on Motema Pembe

Kenyan International Hillary Echesa who featured in the first 45 minutes for Simba against Wydad Casablanca of Morocco in the CAF champions league recently has told his team-mates to forget about their defeat to Wydad and focus on their next match against Motema Pembe of DR Congo in the CAF Confederations Cup.

- When you play a team like Wydad Casablanca and you fall asleep for one minute they punish you, and that is how they beat us with only 10 minutes left, he told Citizendaily

- It is really hard to take losing a crucial match like that, but it will be useless if we sit and wallow in the defeat. We have to forget it and concentrate on the forthcoming match, he added.

Tough

- It is going to be a tough match because the Congolese side has pedigree in international football, but it is about putting all the surrounding stuff aside and just focus on playing well, he said

- We played well in the first half though we crumbled late in the second half, but I am confident that when we meet the Congolese side things will be different

-We know what we could face against Motema Pembe, but we have plenty of time to train and rectify our mistakes
