Gor Mahia Coach Zdravko Logarusic says that his not worried about the suspension of his two key players for Saturday’s (October 20) Tusker Premier League match, against Karuturi Sports.
The pair of Ugandan import Ivan Anguyo and Harambee Stars defender Christopher Wekesa have been suspended after accumulating five yellow-cards in the previous games.
Plethora options
However, according to the Croatian born tactician, there is nothing to worry about as superb replacements for the duo, with midfield maestro Antony Akumu likely to get a new role.
-Yellowcards, redcards and injuries are part and parcel of the game. We have come a long way and we can't give up.
-We are not worried or complaining. We have enough players in the team and all of them are responsible players, they are ready for the match.
-We have many options; we can pull Akumu back, but that’s not a big deal, we will make a final decision tomorrow, said Logarusic to futaa.com.
Apart from Akumu, the other players likely to fill the duo’s void are Yusuf Juma, David Owino and Musa Mohammed.
