Shanghai Shenhua and Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba has insisted that he will do his best in his new club to stay strong and competitive.
Speaking to L'Equipe, the player assured that he would do everything within his means to continue being productive for his national team.
-For the 2013 African Cup of Nations, I will do everything to remain competitive by being in China.
- My start has generated good and bad reviews but I have always taken on my choices, explained Drogba when asked about his first few matches in the Asian country.
Drogba has made six appearances for the side and scored four times as he partners his former teammate at Chelsea Nicolas Anelka upfront.
Shenhua is placed 10th on the standings with 27 points.
