As largely expected, DR Congo has qualified for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
Impressive 4-0 first leg win
This is despite the side’s 2-1 fall away to Equatorial Guinea in a second round second leg tie played on Sunday 14 October 2014 played at the Internacional Stadium from 2000hrs.
The win had little effect on DR Congo who had carried an impressive 4-0 first leg win to the game.
With a 5-2 aggregate win, DR Congo proceeds to join Angola, Niger, Togo, Cape Verde, Ethiopia, Ghana, Mali, Nigeria, defending Champions Zambia, Morocco and Tunisia.
