A Division one (Zone A) tie between Mahakama and visiting Green Berets played out at the Judiciary training grounds in Kiambu on Sunday 15 April 2012 failed to see the full 90 minutes.
Squarely to blame for its failure to conclude is the rains pounding the City that left the game abandoned just at the stroke of half time.
At the time of the abandonedment, Green Berets led the game 0-1, a goal the team got on 40 minutes.
-The game had to be stopped as the pitch was declared unplayable due to the heavy rains, said Mahakama CEO Martin Hazard Aganda to futaa.com
Contend with being third
On Saturday, Mahakama brought a rude end to Kariobangi Sharks eight-game unbeaten run but could not ride on that after the abandonment on Sunday.
Till a decision on the game is made, Mahakama will have to contend with being third with 17 points from eight games with Green Berets further down at 12th with eight points.
