Laid down procedures
A letter dated Tuesday 28 August 2012 signed by FKF Secretary General Omondi Aduda and addressed to the Secretary of Bandari Footballl Club read;
-Please be advised that the federation has not received any letter from Tanzanian Football Federation (TFF) authorizing both Yanga and Coastal Union to host your team as per FIFA/CAF regulations governing international friendly matches. In this regard the federation will only permit the team to travel once the laid down procedures are fulfilled
Responsibility of the federation
But a club official of Bandari who spoke on condition of anonymity responded that it is the duty of the federation to communicate with their counterparts (TFF) to facilitate the same.
-We wrote a letter to the federation informing them that Yanga and Coastal have agreed to host us and therefore it was the responsibility of the federation to make a follow up with TFF, said the official.
Bandari travelled to Tanzania on Tuesday for the friendlies.
On Wednesday 29 August, Bandari play Coastal Union then take on African Sports on Thursday 30th August before winding their tour on Saturday 1 September against Vodaphone Premier League champions Simba Sports Club
