Dissatisfied Imonje lauds his boys

Alfred Imonje

Muhoroni Youth head coach Alfred Imonje has lauded his players after their narrow 1-0 loss to defending champions Tusker FC at the MISC Kasarani.

Speaking after the match, the coach however lamented over the level of officiating in the match saying that it was not up to scratch.

Denied chance

-The officiating was wanting and we should have been awarded a penalty in that match but my players executed my plans well throughout the match.

-We made Tusker struggle in the 90 minutes despite the unfortunate goal we conceded towards the end. We have now turned focus on the Chemelil match which is a local derby.

Imonje is however very confident that they will get back and survive relegation by winning their remaining matches.

Tusker beat them courtesy of a David Ochieng’ header leaving the defending champions still two points clear at the top of the standings.
