Former Mathare Youth player Adams Adelitoh Ewoton has called on financial backing of the disbanded side to help them bounce back into league action come next season.
According to the player who played for the side before it was dissolved this season, the club was in real financial trouble and sponsors would go a long way in ensuring that the team returns.
Financial constraints-The club management was really straining and it reached a point of no return and the club had to be disbanded.
-It was a very painful way to end the season and I would urge fans and sponsors to come on board so that this team can be rescued.
The team was disbanded towards the end of last month with the National Football Governing body FKF confirming that the team had indeedb given in.
Mathare Youth Sports Association has been their sponsors but reportedly pulled out and decide to focus on other projects.
They [Mathare Youth] were playing in Zone A of Kenyan Division One League.
