Departing Leopards man sad to leave

Departing AFC Leopards striker Francis Chinjili is saddened by his departure from the club.

Leopards have announced the they will not renew the striker's contract which expires this month.

After a year at the club, Chinjili is headed for the exit door after falling down the pecking order, and the striker feels that he could have done more if given the chance.

-I feel sad to make this decision to leave the club. I had a very good time here and I love this club. It was my dream and honour to don their colours.

-However, I have not played many games even though at times I felt I could help the team and thus for both parties, it is best that I leave, he told Futaa.com.

Chinjili has stated his desire to play for Western Stima.
