Mbikalo Musambya, the Coach who was recently demoted by Division One side Ligi Ndogo, says that the league in which his former side is playing is very competitive, especially when it comes to the knowledge that only two of the 40 participating teams will be promoted.
-There is a lot of pressure in the Division One, but its victims are those teams that do not prepare early, Musambya told Futaa.com.
-Any Coach who waits until a few days to a match in order to come up with a strategy to tackle it will most certainly be a little bit challenged.
-On the other hand, Coaches who laid down a blueprint for tackling the league well before it started are the ones who are reaping now.
Departure
Musambya was the head Coach at the senior team but was shifted to the development side, switching places with Mike Kamure.
Speaking of the change in ranks, Musambya says he holds no grudges and hopes to continue performing his duties well.
Ligi Ndogo are currently ranked fifth in the Eastern Zone of Kenya’s Division One.
