The AFC Leopards’ fans’ branches intending to take part in the Sunday June 10 fun day at the Railways Sports club have been told to confirm their participation by Wednesday 6 June.
Pooling
According to Faraj Faluma, speaking to futaa.com on behalf of the event’s organising committee, the deadline is set so since the pooling and scheduling of the programme will be done on Wednesday along with many other arrangements.
Mr. Faluma also stated that the key ambition for the function would be to get the team’s fans involved in running the club’s affairs and not just sitting by the fence even when the club needs their input.
Wednesday
-We decided on having the event for one day (Sunday 10 June) so that we avoid the logistical problems for the branches coming from far flung areas of the country and we are calling on all the willing participants to confirm with us by Wednesday.
Theme of the day
-The theme for the event will be: BE INVOLVED – aimed at encouraging the fans to take part in the running of the club and not just watching from afar when their assistance could be vital, he said.
Faluma also confirmed that adequate security has been organised for the event so the participants should have no such concerns.
-We have organised for adequate security for our event, and the police are also informed of it and they will be around so the fans coming should come expecting a peaceful outing, he added.
