Cranes vow to fight another day

Uganda

Uganda Cranes may have been kicked out of the 2013 AFCON tournament in South Africa but the team has vowed to fight on till they make a return.

The weekend loss to current champions Zambia made it the 35th time that the country remains locked out but according to the national governing body FUFA, no one is to blame.

No one to blame

-We have nobody to blame for the country’s another failure to qualify for the Afcon 2013 in South Africa, NOT even ourselves. It was just hard luck, the federation posted on their official website fufa.co.ug

The federation thanked all the stakeholders including the large fan base that turned up to give the national team the much needed support at the Nambole Stadium on Saturday 13th October 2012.

Uganda lost the match 8-9 on spot kicks to Chipolopolo, the continental Champions.
