Bolton
Wanderers Team Manager Owen Coyle admits his side will find it difficult to
keep their minds on the game when they take on Blackburn on Saturday 24 March
2012.
This will be the first time Wanderers take to the field since the harrowing event at Tottenham on Saturday 17 March when midfielder Fabrice Muamba suffered a cardiac arrest that left him fighting for his life.
players excused for weekend fixture
-Absolutely, our thoughts are still with Fabrice. I wouldn't ask anybody to play who felt they couldn't. He told Football365.com
Coyle who believes that everything got pale into insignificance alongside Fabrice’s recovery has confirmed that he will excuse any player who does not feel up to playing for weekend’s fixture even though no one has backed out yet.
enormous credit
Bolton TM had extensive conversations with Muamba’s family before he left London and he is in no doubt that the family wanted Bolton to take to the fields again.
He has earned enormous credit for the way he has handled himself throughout the trauma and he is optimistic of the away game.
