'Controller' backs Leopards for positive result

Josephat Murila
Former AFC Leopards defender Josephat Murila has backed the blue and white to pick up a positive result when they face Gor Mahia in the Nairobi derby.

The two great rivals clash at the Moi Sports Centre Kasarani on Saturday 22 September 2012 in a top of the table Tusker Premier League clash.

With bragging rights and vital points at stake, the match will be one of the most closely fought in recent history and Murila, who played for Leopards between 1979 and 1986 says that he expects a tight match.

Underdogs

- Looking at the two teams, Leopards come into the match as underdogs.

- I think that if they use their runs and power, then they will win. But if they fail to do so and allow Gor to dictate the pace of the game, then it will be a draw.

- That is my take, a win for Leopards or a draw, he told Futaa.com.

Top of the table

If Leopards do what Murila says, they will return to the summit of the Tusker Premier League.
