At the RG Ngala grounds on Sunday 22 July 2012, former Premier League side Congo JMJ United started off a Division One Zone A tie on a high note.

It went in 

Within seconds of the 1500hrs kick off, Louis Misiko sent the visiting team 0-1 up against hosts Sparki Youth.

But with seven minutes to the break, defender Amani Omondi headed a ball back to his keeper, and it went in. And that’ how the game ended; 1-1.

Incredible rise

Prior to the draw on Sunday, Congo had seen off Moyas 1-0 on Saturday in a game played at the Oil Refinery grounds.

Congo who had a false start to the season has had an incredible rise and is now placed seventh with 35 points from 23 games.
