Mombasa County League soccer Kings Barsheba’s unbeaten record was cruelly shattered at Shimmo la Tewa Primary School playground on Wednesday 19 September 2012 when they were humiliated 2-1 by Bamburi Beach.

It was Barsheba however who were first to score in the 23rd minute through Boi Kiche, a scoreline that lasted until the end of first half.

Barsheba’s world started crumbling when Kevin Mbela of  Bamburi pulled one back two minutes after break.

Clean sheet

Thabiti Bandari drove the final nail into Barsheba’s coffin in the 72nd minute to lift his team to victory.

Prior to the march, Barsheba had kept a clean sheet in their 12 matches played.

After playing 13 matches, Barsheba are still perched at the podium of the log with 36 points, 15 more than sixth placed Bamburi Beach.
