A total of 100 participants from the coastal region are taking part in the ongoing coaching and refereeing courses in Lamu.
Awarded
The courses commenced on Monday 15 October and will be on up to Saturday 20 October after which the participants will be presented with certificates by the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) chairman Sam Nyamweya.
The National Executive Committee (NEC) member representing the region Hussein Terry, who was instrumental in organising the exercise informed futaa.com that it was his vision to see the whole province benefit from such courses.
Ambition
- I want to see all areas in Coast benefit from such courses so that we can see an improvement in football in the area, he said.
The coaching course is being conducted by Bob Oyugi and assisted by Abdalla Shaker and the referees’ one by Hamisi Baghazal.
