City Stars target Bankers scalp

Nairobi City Stars will host ninth-placed KCB in a Tusker Premier League match on Sunday 21 October 2012 at the Hope Center in Kawangware, Nairobi.

Optimism

Recently-appointed Head Coach Bye Malleh Wadda is optimistic the team will snatch the maximum points from the bankers saying their preparations for the game have been on point.

-People should be prepared a different City Stars on Sunday. We have trained well and want to try out new tactics against KCB, hoping they work out and we take the three points, Wadda told futaa.com.

Nairobi City Stars is 14 in the 16-team log with 24 points having played 26 matches while KCB is ninth with 33 points from the same number of matches.

License

Wadda was appointed City Stars’ Head Coach after Gideon Ochieng left to pursue further studies in the United States. He holds level 2 coaching license from the English Football Association.
